Karla Novoa and her business parnter, Jose, own Hungry Tails, a 1,000 square foot pet supplies store in an up-and-coming neighborhood in East Boston, MA. They are just shy of their one year business anniversary, and currently have 4 part-time employees. Their focus is healthy food and treats, and small-batch, local, independent, made-in-the-USA products. Karla has been in Financial Planning and Analysis for 20+ years, and Hungry Tails is her first venture into entrepreneurship.
