Running a pet business is no walk in the park. We’ve been there, done that and have the campfire stories to prove it. That’s why we created Camp Pet Boss–where pet business owners, the most sought-after pet industry experts and dogs collide in the best ways possible.
Camp Pet Boss returns for the first time since 2019 for an amazing adventure happening Tuesday, Aug 27th-Friday, August 30th, 2024 in Lake Delton, Wisconsin. Tickets WON’T last long, so grab your seat by the campfire!

Camp Pet Boss is hosted at JCC Chicago – Camp Chi at the Perlstein Resort & Conference Center. The whole property is 600 acres of fields, woods, and lakefront. Camp Chi is adjacent to a private beachfront for swimming and canoeing. Dogs are welcome but the property is NOT fenced in completely. For safety, there will be a designated fenced area for dogs to play off leash.
All lodge rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning and heat, and beds (queen and twin size). They come with all of the charm of a children’s overnight camp.
The dining hall and catering do their best to accommodate various dietary needs. Please be sure to let us know at least 2 weeks prior to camp if you have special dietary needs.
Camp takes place in a large outdoor setting with many indoor sessions that are a short walk from the lodge buildings. The beach and some outdoor activity areas are a longer walk. A camper does not necessarily have to be “fit” to enjoy camp, but should be able to spend time outside in various weather conditions, walk on gravel paths, and be comfortable getting a little muddy/dirty. There are opportunities for more physical activity, but these activities are voluntary.
With you, of course! Dogs are allowed on beds and couches in your room. Bring any crates or pet bedding if you’d like. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet, so you may want to bring your own bed linens.
About 10 minutes.
The regional airport in Madison is about 45 minutes away, Milwaukee airport 2 hours, and Chicago O’Hare about 3.5 hours.
