7 Pet Boss Milestone Moments of 2022

This is the part where we tie the pretty bow on the 2022 package that contains everything Pet Boss Nation®  has accomplished this year…. And that was a lot, so we’re going to need a pretty big bow! 🎀 

Try listing out everything you did this year. When you’re in the grind of every day, it can be tough to pull back and see how much you accomplish in 365 days. But I promise you– that list will prove that you are accomplishing so much, and you should feel proud of yourself. 

So, want to see our list? 

Between professional and personal accomplishments, it’s been a very busy 2022 for Pet Boss Nation® , and once you see the list, you’ll understand why 2023 will prove to be even busier! 

Here are 7 milestones Pet Boss Nation®  reached in 2022: 

1- We hosted TWO Coaching Weeks. 

One was in February, and one was in September. Don’t know what a Coaching Week is? 

It’s a pop-up extensive week of pet business coaching hosted by our CEO, Candace, where she tackles some big-picture topics within your pet business. 

You get the support of a pop-up community, expert advice, downloadable worksheets, and even chances at 1:1 hot seat coaching. You walk away with a game plan for your business for the foreseeable future and overflowing with more confidence and clarity than ever before. 

At the end of the week, some very special doors open exclusively for you… The Pet Boss Club®  doors!  

In fact, in September, we even broke our own record and had over 80 new members join us in the Pet Boss Club®  after Coaching Week, for a grand total of 226 for the year! 

So if you didn’t get a chance to attend a 2022 Coaching Week, make sure your eyes are peeled for our 2023 announcements! 

2- We grew our team! 

From two Pet Boss Team members to eight! It takes a village to deliver the expert-level content to pet pros that we do, and our village is top-notch for sure. 

We started out the year with: 

Candace, our founder and CEO ➡️ The face and expertise (20+ years of it) behind Pet Boss Nation, and our fearless and confident leader. 

Jolanta➡️Our digital strategist and manager whose face you may recognize from many of our lives and trainings. Jolanta keeps us on track and moving toward our goals! 

Maddie➡️ Our content creation whiz who also has a knack for keeping our website and Pet Boss Club ® portal updated and running smoothly. 

And in 2022, we grew our team by adding: 

Sarah➡️Our podcast editor for The Boss Your Business Podcast (ya know, the one that is ranked in the top 3% GLOBALLY).

Cait➡️Our wordsmith AKA copywriter who helps us produce our weekly podcast notes, blog posts, emails, and more. 

Megan➡️Our Community Manager, so you might see her around if you’re in the Pet Boss Club! 

Gretchen➡️ Our Facebook Ads Manager on the PBN team. 

Desiree (plus her team!)➡️ Desiree and her team will be producing our YouTube channel (coming soon!) and helping us level up our social media marketing game.

3- We hosted pop-ups at Global Pet Expo and SuperZoo. 

In-person events were BACK this year, and we were thrilled to see some familiar and new faces at our pop-up events at Global Pet Expo in Orlando in March and SuperZoo in Las Vegas in September.

4- We launched a new website and a weekly newsletter, plus hosted FOUR webinars. 

Our website is fresh, and on top of that, this year we delivered fresh and valuable information straight into your inbox every week, which we plan to continue in 2023. So, if you’re not already, get on our email list by scrolling to the bottom of this page! 

Each week we’ll be sharing what’s new at Pet Boss Nation, some life and pet business owner hacks, plus exclusive announcements (like when doors are opening to the Pet Boss Club.)

5- We launched the Boss Your Business podcast. 

It takes a village to deliver fresh content each week, which goes for the podcast too! But the success the Boss Your Business podcast has seen in the first year alone is solid proof that every bit of work to produce it is well worth it. 

✔️ We have produced 56 episodes in season one. 

✔️ The podcast has been downloaded 25,500 times! 

✔️ It’s ranked in the top 3% of podcasts GLOBALLY (and reached this milestone in the first 30 days.) 

✔️ We hosted our first wildly successful pop-up mini-series over the summer. 

✔️ And more!

6- Candace welcomed Dante into her home. 

It might’ve been fate that while visiting Pet Boss Club member Jessica Cooke of The Yuppy Puppy Pet Spa, Candace met Dante, who had just been surrendered to Jessica’s rescue by his previous owner. 

It didn’t take much for Dante to squirm his handsome way into Candace’s heart, and before she knew it, she was driving home with her husband, Joey, AND her new pup. Dante is the perfect addition to Candace’s life, and he’s a wonderful fur-bro to her other two dogs, Clover and Dory. Now he’s gearing up to be a new kind of brother….

7- Candace announced her next new family addition! 

BABY PET BOSS IS COMING!!! 

And YES, it’s a boy! 🥰 Candace, Joey, and the pups are over the moon excited to welcome their babe-to-be in February of 2023. Candace is preparing the team for her maternity leave, and this year is truly going to be one for the books, with the newest Pet Boss Nation face making his arrival! 

PHEW, what a year! And all in ONLY 365 days. Take a good hard look at how your life has changed in that timeframe and ask yourself– where do you want to be in another 365 days?
